MrBeast has been dominating the entertainment industry for a while now. The YouTube King is on the verge of thrashing major records on YouTube and TikTok. The creator has witnessed phenomenal growth in numbers in the first half of 2023. These numbers are only expected to grow with his every coming feature. But success brings its own set of problems. The creator is yet again irked by a user pretending to be MrBeast of social media trying to scam his fans.

With such a gigantic following like MrBeast, fake accounts, and impersonators are hard to avoid. Although sometimes when these impersonators reach out to MrBeast’s audience for scams, it becomes concerning. As reports of fake MrBeast accounts make the headlines again, the creator had a furious response. The latter lashed out at all the fake profiles claiming to be MrBeast.

MrBeast warns his fans about scammers

In his latest Instagram story, the YouTuber addressed the ongoing concern. There have been plenty of reports suggesting scammers impersonating to be MrBeast and asking for direct money or indirect investments. In such cases, the subjects are mostly baited to get featured in a MrBeast exclusive video or a challenge.
Considering the range of fan following the man has across the globe, there’s a high probability of some people falling into such scams. Now, it seems like even MrBeast is fed up with these scammers. Through the story, he wrote, “Lots of people impersonate me! If you get a message from an account that’s not this one it’s not real. Screw scammers.”

Very rarely do we get to see the furious version of MrBeast on social media. Although the angst is highly justified. For a creator fake profiles and content stealers are always a bug. A few weeks back the YouTuber had addressed the issue in a podcast interview as well. The scammers not only cause a loss in follower growth of the original creators but also hamper the audience-celebrity interaction. Moreover, with news like fake profiles trying to rip off some fans for financial benefits just adds to the fuel.

As the creator has advised all his followers, one should always be aware of social media scammers. In the days when blue ticks aren’t a reliable source of authentication, one needs to be extremely certain when it comes to celebrity interaction. Hopefully, the popular social media sites will find an organic solution to the fake profiling problem soon. Until then, let’s just follow MrBeast’s advice.
