The Japanese juggernaut, Nintendo, has many iconic IPs under its belt. But few of them can stand parallel to the icon that is Pokemon. For decades, the franchise has piqued the interest of millions of fans all around the world. On the upcoming Pokemon Day, the company has decided to host a broadcast named ‘Pokemon Presents’ to share some amazing news with the community.

Ever since the announcement of the Broadcast, fans all over the globe started speculating what they could showcase. The most popular beliefs are brand new DLCs for Scarlet and Violet, a new Mystery Dungeon game, and some more fascinating and exciting new developments in the Pokemon world.

What to expect from the Pokemon Presents?

On February 2023, the official Pokemon Twitter shared the news of an upcoming Pokemon Presents Broadcast. The tweet said, “Tune in to our official YouTube channel at 6:00 a.m. PST on February 27 for about 20 minutes of exciting Pokémon news in celebration of #PokemonDay 2023!”

The tweet raised a wave across the community. The fans united to make their speculations and theories about what could they reveal in the broadcast. Many including the YouTubers GameXplain in their latest video, Pokémon Presents PREDICTIONS – Scarlet/Violet DLC, New Mystery Dungeon, Transfer Pack & More!” believed that in this showcase, Nintendo will finally reveal the rumored DLCs for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. There were some theories that this could be a third legendary or the Paradox form of Suicune DLCs.

Other theories also point out that there could be announcements that may be completely unrelated to the mainline series games. As many believe, there could be reveals of brand new secondary games or spin-off series such as Pokemon Mystery Dungeon and more. However, the chances for it seems to be a little bleak.

And finally, a group of speculators believed that the Pokemon Presents will end with the announcement of a brand-new remake. The community believes that Nintendo is secretly working on the Unnova region games’ remake and it will be the surprise grand announcement of the event. 

The presentation will go live on February February 27. The duration of the show will be 20 minutes. Fans can catch the show on the official Pokemon channel on YouTube. The broadcast will begin at 6 a.m. PST.
