According to Nintendo Life, organizers this time went through a strict policy and disqualified all the players using hacked versions of Pokémon to skip training and create their own perfect group.
Sources confirmed that these disqualified players were using hacking programs like PKHeX, which can save in-game data and create teams. They’ve now started to warn others through their social media channels. However, this strict rule divided the internet, with some players totally appreciating this new policy of the organizers. However, some Pokémon players believed that these programs help to create the best gaming experience. The strict policies were criticized by these gamers.
The policy resulted in many professional Pokémon Scarlet and Violet players being kicked out of the game. But there were surprises as well. For example, Federico Camporesi, a professional player and the runner-up of 2020, somehow managed to finish third in the VGC masters division after losing his modified Pokemon.
