San Diego Comic Con Sees Pokemon Gain an Adorable New Partner to Spread Joy With

There is no one in the world who hasn’t heard of Pokemon. After all, it’s the biggest video game series in the world. The popularity even led to the series getting multiple anime adaptations and various other collaborations.

San Diego Comic-Con is a fan event where various comic book, movie, and game production companies assemble and interact with their fans. Further, many companies also reveal their future projects at this event. After a two-year hiatus, this famous Comic-Con returned this year from July 21 to 24.

Further, many big-name celebrities also attend this event. But aside from all these, there are showpieces and collectible items available for fans. The Pokemon Company also collaborated with Jazwares for an epic surprise for fans at the grand event.

The Squishmallows x Pokemon collection for Comic-Con

Jazwares are famous for the Squishmallows, which are soft and adorable squishy soft toys. They have a vast range of Squishmallows, including some very rare versions. Now, two famous Pocket Monsters join the Squishmallow collection.

The Electric-type Pikachu and the Ghost/Poison-type Gengar got their adorable Squishmallow forms for the San Diego Comic-Con. The Squishy Pocket Monsters would be available at the Jazwares’ Booth No. 3513 at the Comic-Con.

As for the price of these Squishmallow toys, they can easily range from $10 to $100. Further, there are even rare Squishmallows that fetched a price up to $2000. However, these Pikachu and Gengar squishes won’t be exclusive and would be later available at the Pokemon Centre.

Aside from Pikachu and Gengar, there are rumors that Jazwares also came up with Normal-types Snorlax and Togepi Squishmallows. It seems this collaboration between Pokemon Company and Jazwares.

The toy company might come up with more Squishmallows for other Pokemon. There are over 905 Pocket Monsters and after the release of Violet and Scarlet, the count will increase further. So, we can expect Jazwares would have a wide variety for their Squishmallow x Pokemon collection.
