Ubisoft has recently shifted its focus; they have left every project aside and have decided to focus on Assassin’s Creed titles. It makes sense too; most of their games are not winning many hearts, and this seems like the only franchise that is showing them any promise.

Hence, Ubisoft decided to double down on the Assassin’s Creed franchise and nothing else for now. This focus simply means they will start developing even more games in this franchise than before. And a bunch of those games just got leaked!

Recently, Tom Henderson of Insider Gaming revealed that Ubisoft is currently working on a bunch of new Assassin’s Creed games. And these games are not limited to the previously announced AC Mirage, Codename Red, Codename Hexe, and Codename Jade. These games are a bunch of new titles that Ubisoft is planning to launch in the coming years!

The first game is AC Nexus 2. Fans of the series might remember Nexus, the name this developer and publisher gave to the first-ever VR game in this franchise. The first VR game was announced years ago and has yet to be launched, yet Ubisoft has already started working on a sequel.

Then come the codenamed games Nebula, Raid, and Echoes; there is seldom any information regarding these games as of yet, but it is being said that they would differ from each other vastly in terms of gameplay mechanics.

This only means Ubisoft is throwing everything it has at its fans. Every type of Assassin’s Creed game for every type of AC fan out there. To some, this makes sense, to others this means another burnout.

Fans must remember that previously when AC games used to launch on a yearly basis, their sales had started dwindling. Let us hope Ubisoft does not make that mistake yet again.

Ubisoft has a bunch of other stuff in the works too!

Aside from these games, there’s one that will release soon, and that is the latest installment in the Crew series. Other than that, there’s Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora and that unnamed open-world Star Wars game. Here’s hoping we see those games soon enough.
