The Last Of Us Part II is coming with a popular Battle Royale
If rumors are to be believed, the multiplayer assets with part 2 of the game’s file are indicating towards a potential Battle Royale. The map also has some locations found in the single-player mode of the game. YouTuber Speclizer just revealed in a 5-minute long video that the multiplayer may feature Battle Royal (Factions).

Fans of The Last of Us are very well familiar with Factions, as it was an extremely popular element in the game way back on PlayStation 3. With the ever-increasing popularity of Battle Royale with major titles like Fortnite, Apex Legends, and Valorant, this makes sense that Naughty Dog would also want to try their hands on this concept.
The YouTuber revealed a prop map, highlighting the point that Battle Royale is making its way to the game. The map was quite big, so it does raise some expectations that it could be used for a Battle Royale. They also said, ”This object is named ‘listen mode device’.”

Well, there is a great chance that the upgraded version of the game for PlayStation 5 may also include the ultimate Battle Royale. This will push players to shift from PlayStation 4 to PlayStation 5. However, nothing is officially confirmed yet. So take this news as a rumor only.
