Spider-Man 2 is undoubtedly one of the anticipated games of 2023 for PlayStation 5 owners. In fact, many have even purchased this console for the purpose of enjoying this sequel. And it makes sense too, as along with Final Fantasy XVI, Spider-Man 2 might be one of those games that would show the world the true potential of this new generation console.

While fans are indeed pretty excited about it, developer Insomniac Games has decided to keep things all hush for now besides giving some vague hints. But it appears some things always end up slipping, and that’s why a bunch of new information on this superhero sequel has leaked too!

Spider-Man 2’s gameplay and story details have leaked online!

While Insomniac expects its fans to wait for this game to launch and measure its worth for themselves, some people are a little impatient. And maybe that’s why they have somehow ended up with a bunch of new information on this game.

Before giving away those leaks, it must be said that they have mild spoilers for the game’s story.  The 4chan leaker revealed little information on this game. They mentioned that the game starts with Peter and Miles looking for a serial killer. Peter suggests taking care of the situation himself as it was a delicate one.

Venom makes Peter his host when he and MJ meet Harry. On the other hand, Norman Osborn hires Kraven the Hunter, to hunt the Symbiote and Miles. Kraven rejects the contract due to the limitations of the force he is allowed to use. He then goes on an independent hunt for the two heroes. To flush them out, he sets his goons on the city.

It is being said that players will be able to control Eddie Brock this time. And player feedback has assured that this time around there will not be any forced stealth sequences when controlling the normal friends of Spider-Man.

Finally, the post revealed that the game would feature way more cutscenes and story beats than the previous game. The story would move forward, and cut scenes would play out regardless of Spider-Man’s location.
