Fans are thrilled after a leaker predicted the games that will be announced in the upcoming Nintendo Direct. The leaker further assured the fans that the Direct is likely to happen sooner than fans expect. 

Nintendo To Come Up With A 2D Super Mario Bros?

A user took to his Twitter and tweeted, “In case you were wondering what games will be announced in this week’s #NintendoDirect: – A new 2D #SuperMarioBros &  Remake of a SNES classic”.

According to the leaker, Nintendo is planning a Direct in a matter of few days. The company is likely to announce a 2D Super Mario Bros. at the Direct. The tweet also hints at the homecoming of a popular SNES classic. This rumor has made the fans really excited. Earlier, the Twitter handle had accurately predicted the 1st Party sequel and the Sonic Superstars announcement. The rumor has sparked all the possible fan theories around the return of a popular ’80-’90s title. While there is no official update about the same, all the theories just build the hype around the much anticipated Nintendo Direct.

Nintendo’s The Legend Of Zelda: Tears Of Kingdom was released earlier this year in May. The title made historic numbers in business and aced the critical reviews. It became the first title of the year to get a perfect score on the Famitsu rating. So, there is no reason to not look forward to the next upcoming title by the legendary makers. Nintendo has certainly dominated the gaming world with its work and with the exciting rumors it looks like it plans to go only bigger.
