It’s not a very big surprise that Nintendo’s consoles have always been home to the Monster Hunter franchise. From Nintendo Wii U’s Monster Hunter Tri to Nintendo 3Ds’s Monster Hunter 4 and generation, there’s been no shortage of these monster-hunting games on these systems. Eventually, the Nintendo Switch launched, and Capcom brought Generations and Rise to it. Hence, it’s only reasonable that a new game would launch for Switch 2.
The twist is that this new and upcoming game will be a next-generation title. It would probably be based on the RE Engine and might even be on par with the likes of Resident Evil 4 when it comes to visuals.

What else should this console have?
Capcom has always been a huge supporter of Nintendo’s consoles. From Street Fighter 3D on the 3DS to many other games on the Nintendo Switch, such as Resident Evil collections and the original Devil May Cry, there are numerous examples of their support.

Hence, it would not be an over-exaggeration for us to expect that they might even bring future Resident Evil titles as well as Dragon’s Dogma 2 to Nintendo Switch 2. But as we said before, for the time being, most of this stuff is either speculation or rumors; the confirmation would only come from Nintendo itself.
