It seems like gaming fans are set for another nostalgic treat. In the latest episode by Spheshal Nick on Xbox Era Podcast, the latter revealed some exciting insiders on the future plans of SEGA. According to the creator’s sources, the Japanese gaming developers have plans to bring back Gunstar Heroes and Altered Beast.
Gunstar Heroes
Originally released in the year 1993, the title revolves around two characters trying to stop an evil Empire from recovering four powerful gems, an old version of the infinity stones. The game involves fun fusions of guns and other weapons for battling the evil army.

Altered Beast
A more narrative-focused title was developed and published by SEGA in 1998. The game was heavily inspired by Greek mythology. Players could explore different magical forms of beasts which made it an innovative experience back then.

Both titles have an established set of fan base. The rumors surrounding their revival might hit the right nostalgic chord for all the millennial gamers. Although the source hasn’t confirmed the form through which SEGA plans a revival.
