For the uninitiated, when GTA 3 was launched in 2001, Rockstar introduced an interesting aspect to its story mode. After completing every campaign mission, players used to hear a ‘Mission Passed’ sound. After GTA 3, this element was seen in GTA Vice City too. Moreover, it was also witnessed in Grand Theft Auto San Andreas.

The feature was brought back once again in 2005’s Liberty City Stories. 2008’s Grand Theft Auto IV was the last installment to have ‘Mission Passed’ themes for the quests completed by the players. After that, Rockstar didn’t include this element in GTA V in 2013. Even 2018’s Red Dead Redemption 2 didn’t have it.

But it seems like the fans who played classic GTA games want this aspect of the series to come back once again. On Reddit, a user recently urged Rockstar to add mission complete themes back again. According to the Redditor, having this addition was quite fun in previous offerings.

The sounds are used to elevate the feeling of finishing a certain quest after putting in all the effort. It will be interesting to see whether Rockstar will bring back this feature in GTA 6 or not. So far, even the plot of the game is yet to be fully unearthed, let alone getting other crucial elements.

Moreover, the game is also said to have a dynamic weather system alongside a smart cop structure. This means police officers won’t spawn out of nowhere once criminal activity takes place, compared to past games. They will be able to recognize the criminal’s vehicles while adding depth to the chase.
