The poor state of the game quickly deflated the excitement and hype around Grand Theft Auto Trilogy. Unfortunately, the game was filled with a plethora of visual, graphical, and other haunting issues, as well as technical errors. Following the pretty disappointing launch of GTA Trilogy, Rockstar Games has finally offered an official apology to all the fans via a blog post and promised to bring back the original versions of all three titles.

Original versions of GTA Trilogy are back on digital stores

According to the official blog post, Rockstar Games is planning to fix all the technical issues with the next update and promises to add back the classic original version of all three games to the Rockstar Store. The original versions of the games will return as a special bundle in the online store.

Moreover, those who have already purchased the Grand Theft Auto Trilogy- The Definitive Edition won’t have to pay extra charges to get the games. Basically, Rockstar Games is trying to compensate for the poor condition of GTA Trilogy by bringing back the classic original versions of the games.

Just before the launch of GTA Trilogy, Rockstar games removed the original games from the store without any warning or prior notice. When GTA Trilogy failed to satisfy the majority of the community, players quickly wanted to go back to the original versions of the games, which was a fruitless venture as the company had already removed them from all digital stores.

It wasn’t till recently that Rockstar Games issued an apology to all the GTA fans. They highlighted the point that they know GTA Trilogy didn’t meet the quality of standard everyone expected and also promised to make the improvements soon.

Title update to fix the issues in Trilogy

Luckily, Rockstar has promised to fix the issues as soon as possible. And it finally seems like Rockstar Games is serious about this issue and is planning to fix everything ASAP. Hopefully, they have started working on the title updates and they are expected to roll them out soon.
