Rockstar Games had secretly planned two new remastered versions

It is no secret that Rockstar Games has developed a massive fan base over the years. After all, the franchise is home to some of the top-grossing titles such as Red Dead Redemption and GTA.

Fans have always appreciated the efforts taken by the company to create these titles, as it helped them have an exciting gaming experience.

But with new leaks swirling around the internet, some questions have started to raise in the community. Twitter user Tez2 uploaded a tweet talking about Red Dead Redemption and GTA IV. He said, “As per a reliable source with clear accuracy on Rockstar plans, remasters of GTA IV & RDR1 were on the table a few years ago, but Rockstar chose not to proceed with the projects in mind.”

The information baffled fans as they could not believe Rockstar’s move. Here’s how they reacted.

Apart from this, Tez2 predicted that Rockstar had canceled the projects to work on GTA Trilogy. For those uninitiated, GTA Trilogy is the definitive edition having a compilation of three GTA games; Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.

Tez2 said, ‘The poor reception of the Trilogy DE might be a reason behind that decision.’ Fans did not react well to this information as they felt that the company had done an injustice. Here’s what they had to say.
