Other than the news of its making, however, no major detail is available right now. But there are various industry insiders and scoopers who keep an eye on everything GTA and manage to leak out crucial information. Same is the case with a newest leak as well, reportedly revealing a code name currently being used for the upcoming sixth Grand Theft Auto entry.

GTA 6 might be codenamed ‘Fireball’

First shared on Reddit, the leak was posted by a user named u/KekanKok. They mentioned in the post that the GTA 6 is currently being made under a codename and currently, the project might be called ‘Fireball’. Sadly, this post’s actual content was deleted and there was nothing else to see for the fans.

Fortunately, though, another account on Twitter managed to spot a huge detail about the awaited game. Twitter page GTA 6 NEWS & LEAKS shared an image of a resume of the actress who’s actually playing a role in the sixth installment. The name of the actress, going by the leak, is Natonia Monet and she’s the voice actress for Tamara.

Coming back to the leak itself, then the tweet from GTA 6 NEWS & LEAKS shows two images. One is from July 15 and the other is from the following day. The difference between the two is that the one from July 16 mentions Natonia’s association with Rockstar Games. In fact, her character’s name can also be seen clearly in front of a title called ‘Fireball Video Game’.

However, this detail is missing from the same resume’s picture updated on July 16. What does that mean? Well, it might indicate the previous leak itself, which emphasized on the codename for GTA 6. It looks like the game, for now, is operating as ‘Fireball’. But since Rockstar’s team wants to stay completely secretive, they deleted its name from the aforementioned resume of the voice actress.

This could turn out to be a huge detail going forward. Only time will tell what’s the exact plan of the developing team for the extremely hyped video game. As of now, hardcore fans can only wait and hope for a big reveal in the near future.
