PlayStation has recently unveiled the list of the top downloaded games in the USA and Europe for August 2023. As per the list, Red Dead Redemption 1 and 2 have become the third and fourth most downloaded PS4 games in the USA, respectively. In Europe, RDR holds the second position, while its sequel is placed in the fifth position.

Red Dead Redemption was the second installment of this franchise after Red Dead Revolver. This title was released in 2010 on the PS3 and Xbox 360. So, this accolade on the PlayStation charts denotes how desperate fans were to play this epic title on their PS4.

This title was also ported to Nintendo Switch as well. Fans dearly wanted a remastered version of RDR. But instead, they got a port for slightly older and less compatible devices. This is the main reason for these unwelcoming behaviors from the fans.
