The last few hours had seen a great deal of uncertain and unnecessary updates on the advancements in the upcoming Grand Theft Auto game, GTA 6. As it stands, the most anticipated game of the decade was thought to be facing a delay because of the recent mishap that took place after GTA 6 got leaked.

What do Rockstar Games have to say about GTA 6 being leaked?

In a recent statement by Rockstar Games on their official Twitter handle, it was revealed by them that the leaked footage of the GTA 6 was, in fact, true. And now they have launched an official statement where they are assuring the fans that the game might not suffer from any long-term issues, nor the game might suffer any live game services.

The official statement said, “We recently suffered a network intrusion in which an unauthorized third party illegally accessed and downloaded confidential information from our systems, including early development footage for the next Grand Theft Auto. At this time, we do not anticipate any disruption to our live game services nor any long-term effect on the development of our ongoing projects.”

Rockstar also said that they are not happy with the way the footage got leaked and spoiled most of the game to their fans. Also, they said that they are going to keep working on the game and make sure to showcase it to the public when the time is right.
