Rockstar Games recently announced a new subscription service called GTA+, aimed at the players of Grand Theft Auto Online. It will be limited to the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S platforms.
Both the existing and new players will get multiple benefits through GTA+, according to the developer and publisher. The subscription service is yet to launch at the end of this month.

GTA+ means nothing to the angry fans of Grand Theft Auto!
The yet-to-release subscription service will cost $5.99 every month. It will offer the players a recurring monthly bank deposit of GTA$500,000. It implies that they will have a large amount of cash to spend in the virtual open-world of Grand Theft Auto Online.

Also, the members will be able to purchase Shark Cards, only accessible to them, with extra bonus cash.
Meanwhile, a widely followed industry insider named Ben on Twitter recently conducted a crucial poll on his account. The question for the poll was: Are you planning to subscribe to GTA+?
I put out a poll to see if the GTA community expressed any interest in the newly announced GTA+ subscription service for GTA Online.
Here's the final results who took part in the poll: with only 6% expressing interest and a mountainous 93% of fans say they have no interest. pic.twitter.com/tcPZqqF7oG

Simply put, Ben wanted to know whether or not the fans themselves are interested in the upcoming service. The end result of the poll revealed a total of 19,968 votes.
To his surprise, the majority of the fans expressed a complete disinterest in the GTA+ program revealed by Rockstar. In fact, 93 percent of the players were against the subscription service. Just six percent showed an interest in going for it upon its launch later this week.
Also, most of the fans voiced their opinions under Ben’s tweet as well, brutally criticizing Rockstar. “Rockstar f***ing vampires!!”, wrote an angry user.
Rockstar fucking vampires!!

I’m generally a positive person about gaming but I hope this fails and rockstar gets new leadership. I understand it’s a business but this company is easily to the point where they could be comfortable finding a happy balance.

@RockstarGames either has no idea what its fan base enjoys or is actively trying to make the most money from the least amount of effort and quality control. Their brand is quickly going down the toilet

I believe this GTA+ backlash from Rockstar is going to become a much bigger debate in the future/upcoming days. I am honestly against the idea of another subscription along with Live Gold or PS+ to enjoy an almost 10 year old game for a few minutes only, period.
