The PlayStation Showcase 2021 yesterday was one of the biggest nights of the year for PlayStation owners. The event delivered everything the fans wanted. From a new look at Ragnarok to Wolverine and fan-favorite Spider-Man coming to the platform.
As for GTA (Grand Theft Auto) fans, Rockstar Games showcased a new trailer for the enhanced and expanded GTA 5 and GTA Online. The footage of the next-gen versions gave fans a look at the game’s features while revealing Rockstar’s plans.

GTA 5: what can fans expect from revamped versions?
At Thursday’s PlayStation Showcase, along with all the exciting announcements, the developers had some upsetting news. Rockstar Games revealed that the title’s launch has been pushed to March 2022. Although this means fans will have to wait longer, it also gives the devs more time to perfect the game before its launch.

But that wasn’t all the trailer had to show. The expanded and enhanced editions for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X will take fans back to a new and better Los Santos and Blaine County. The game will implement a bunch of technical and graphical enhancements that focus on improving the overall experience. Amongst all the details, what stole the show was a new feature designed to enable instant and seamless character switching.

And, of course, there is no doubt the next edition will offer tremendous amounts of gunplay along with explosive action.
Since all the amazing revelations have the fans on the edge of their seats and there’s still some time before the game launches, Rockstar Games are offering something to compensate for the delay. According to a post on the PlayStation Blog, PS Plus members can still claim all benefits; including the $1,000,000 in-game money every month.

As for GTA Online, the game’s standalone version will be free-to-play for the first 3 months after its launch. Unfortunately, the offer is only for PlayStation 5 owners. Series X owners will still have to purchase their own copies. But when has it ever hurt to spend money on a Rockstar Games’ title?
