Activision announce new details for their upcoming Call of Duty titles

The Call of Duty franchise has a reputation for releasing a title almost every year, keeping its hallmark within the gaming community largely intact. Last year, fans witnessed the release of Call of Duty: Vanguard, which seems to have had a moderate reception amongst the fans.

Amidst rising speculations about the new title and details surrounding it, Activision and Infinity Ward finally broke their silence, revealing some specifics on this year’s titles. The rumor which stated that the upcoming COD title will be a sequel to the 2019 Modern Warfare is now true, as confirmed by the developers.

Furthermore, Activision is also planning to bring a new engine for the next title (Modern Warfare II) and an upcoming Warzone 2. Speaking of Warzone, a new type of gameplay is in the works, which seems to take a completely new build. This new game would be a massive evolution of Battle Royale gaming in the COD franchise.

Alongside this, a new Sandbox mode is also being worked on by the developers.

Fans across the world were submerged in intrigue with regards to gameplay footage and an official trailer reveal for the upcoming CoD title. Earlier this week, leaker Ralphs Valve revealed some information which gave fans a tentative period for expecting more developments.

In a Q&A session on Twitter, Ralph replied to a fan stating that the leaked gameplay footage might be out by April whilst an official reveal can be expected in the month of May.
