Resident Evil 4 Remake has finally launched on all platforms other than the Nintendo Switch. This game would bring the popular survival horror game into the next generation with its beautiful visuals and a bunch of gameplay improvements.

Only those who exclusively game on the Nintendo Switch would not be able to experience this next installment in the Resident Evil series. But it appears Capcom has no intention of leaving owners of this hybrid console behind. They have started a huge sale of Resident Evil games on the Nintendo eShop!

The Nintendo Switch might not be getting this much-anticipated remake of one of Capcom’s most appreciated games, but it does have a bunch of excellent games in this series. From Resident Evil 0 to Resident Evil 7, fans can get their hands on pretty much any game in the series. And currently, all of those games are available at steep discounts.

Resident Evil – $9.99 (50% off)

The first game in the series comes with a bunch of modern features, HD textures, and a bunch of improvements to the game’s controls to accompany this very faithful remake of the first-ever game in the series.

Through this game, fans can experience exactly where this series is coming from. And it really holds up to the modern standards set by its successors.

Resident Evil 4 – $9.99 (50% off)

Resident Evil 4 is what launched the series into a new era, and it introduced the world to a slew of new gaming possibilities. A third-person angle, mercenary mode, and a mix of survival horror and action made this game just perfect.

It still stands tall amongst its pals as the best Resident Evil game ever made.

Resident Evil 0 – $9.99 (50% off)

As the title suggests, this game was nothing more than a straightforward sequel to the original Resident Evil. This title, like all the others in the series, was first released for the Nintendo GameCube.

And then it was remade with HD textures and improved gameplay elements for the new generation of consoles.

Resident Evil 5 – $9.99 (50% off)

Following the success of Resident Evil 4, Capcom was left wondering where they could take the series next, and they decided to make it more explosive and action-oriented. And they indeed made an explosive game, setting it in a place inspired by Africa.

This game also has a cooperative mode in which two players can complete the entire campaign online or in split-screen mode.

Resident Evil 6 – $9.99 (50% off)

Resident Evil 6 was when the directors of this series went full Michael Bay. It had explosions, plane crashes, and a bunch of quick time events leading to even more explosive action sequences.

The game launched to a mixed response, but eventually fans expected it as an odd but playable installment in the series.

Resident Evil Revelations – $7.99 (60% off)

This game first launched for Nintendo 3DS, and this game brought horror back to this series. Fans were blown away by the game’s stunning visuals, 3D implementation, and story mode. The story was the ideal blend of action and horror.


This perfect blend made this game a success, and it is still counted as one of the scariest games in this series.

Resident Evil Revelations 2 – $7.99 (60% off)

An episodic and more expansive take on the formula of Resident Evil revelations fans are once again left abandoned in various creepy locations, from abandoned prisons to uncharted islands; there is no shortage of creepy locations in this game.

The story was decent enough, and the gameplay was engaging enough. But the co-op component lacked a bit, keeping the second player limited to minimalistic actions. However, it is a decently scary single-player game.

A variety of cloud-based modern games are also available for purchase.

Even though they do not have a very good reputation amongst gamers, a bunch of cloud-based titles in this series are also on sale. Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil Village, and Resident Evil 7 Cloud versions are available for $29.99. The Resident Evil 3 Cloud version is available for $19.99.
