Fortnite has a history of introducing iconic entities as skins through their events. And Fortnite’s annual Halloween event Fortnightmares is bringing Resident Evil characters Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine as bundles as well as standalone items. Along with these items, Fortnite will also get some of its old characters back as skins with this new event.
Resident Evil collaborates with Fortnite

Fortnite added the Resident Evil characters with an entire set of cosmetics. The items will be part of the S.T.A.R.S. Team set. The character skins will include two styles that are inspired by the Resident Evil franchise, and Chris’ alternative look is modeled on his appearance in Resident Evil Village, while Jill’s outfit is inspired by the Resident Evil 3 remake.

Alongside these skins, players can also obtain bonus items such as the Green Herb bling, which is also available in red and blue variants; the bad news here is that the herb won’t heal players as they do in Resident Evil.

- Chris Redfield skin with Hound Wolf Squad alternate style
- Jill Valentine skin with Raccoon City alternate style
- Green Herb back bling with Red Herb and Blue Herb alternate styles
- Saving Keystrokes back bling
- Hotdogger pickaxe
- Stun Rod pickaxe
Alongside all of these, The Brolly Stroll emote, being added to the game, is going to be a decent tribute to the Umbrella Corporation.
The Resident Evil skins will join a long list of gaming icons that have been added to Fortnite, which include heroes from God of War, Halo, Tomb Raider, and more. Even cars from Rocket League were added to the game.

Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6’s Fortnightmares event will surely not disappoint fans as Fortnite is also bringing some nostalgic locations and skins that will make this event one to keep an eye out for.
