Nintendo decided to be Santa for its fans in January itself. The company, which has been one of the pioneering figures in the gaming industry for decades, is bringing exciting games and other activities to its consumers. These include the opening of the wondrous Nintendo Super World in Hollywood to the much-awaited Mario Bros Movie.

Apart from these, the announcement many look forward to each day from the company is about Pokemon. One of the biggest, and arguably the most popular franchise in both the reel and gaming world, Pokemon holds a special spot in many people’s hearts. And according to reports, a big announcement regarding the fan-favorite franchise is undercards.

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon is soon to be announced by Nintendo

One of the most unique approaches that a pokemon game introduced was in Mystery Dungeon. These games allow players to be a Pokemon than be a master of it. Now, data miners of Pokemon have found some files which direct toward a new Mystery Dungeon.

Though it is not officially confirmed, the chances of the game getting announced in the month of February are pretty high. This is backed by the title reveal trend the Pokemon Company has been following. February 27 is considered as ‘Pokemon Day,’ and in 2021 and 2022 Pokemon games were announced in regard to the celebrations.

In 2021, three games were announced. Pokemon Arceus, Shining Diamond, and Brillant Pearl. Whereas, the latest Scarlet and Violet were revealed in 2022. Though the chances of Pokemon taking the franchise to a 10th generation very soon are highly unlikely. Thus the chances of Mystery Dungeon getting announced increase. It will be the third part of the Pokemon journey that is currently ongoing in the Mystery Dungeon series.

The first installment of the franchise was in 2005, titled Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team and Red Rescue Team. The deviation the spin-off game took was widely acclaimed, and it soon became a fan hit. There are a total of 11 games currently in the series, without taking the supposed latest addition into consideration.

The game follows a rogue game style, where players get to explore the wilderness as Pokemon. Another interesting feature that the games in the series offered in the selection of Pokemon according to personality. That is, in the beginning, players are allotted to be transformed into a Pokemon taking into consideration a small test. Though few of the games in the series took a deviation from this, the larger system follows these methods.

As the date is now fast approaching, within days we can learn whether a big announcement is made by Nintendo and the Pokemon Company.
