Looks like Sony would soon announce a much-awaited PlayStation 5 exclusive remake

Last year when every PlayStation first-party studio decided to send their fans holiday greetings, they made artwork based on their popular games to do so. Bluepoint was one of those developers and their art was pretty curious indeed.

Their artwork represented every big title they had previously worked on. It represented Shadow of the Colossus, Demon Souls Remake, God of War: Ragnarok, and one wrapped gift box. Fans noticed that box and anticipated that maybe Bluepoint is teasing some game. And they guessed that this game was Bluepoint’s Remake of Metal Gear Solid.

Previous rumors have suggested that this game has been in development at a reputed studio for a while. And there is no studio that holds a better reputation for making game remakes.

Recently there was news suggesting that there is a State of Play event incoming where Sony would be revealing a bunch of new games. And fans are also speculating that this Remake would be revealed during this upcoming event.

Even though there’s no confirmation from Sony or Bluepoint or even Konami regarding this, it appears this time is as good as any for this game’s reveal. If this game is completed and if this game is aiming for a 2023 launch, it has to be revealed soon. And what better place to reveal a game of such potential than at Sony’s State of Play showcase?

The whole series might be sneaking into the next-gen soon!

It also appears that Sony is actually working on bringing the whole series to its next-generation console. There’s no confirmation if these games would be exclusive to PlayStation 5 or not, but they are coming. That much is pretty clear.

It remains to be seen if any of these games get announced anytime soon at all. As there are some people contradicting the Metal Gear theory and simply saying that Bluepoint is actually working on a Bloodborne Remake.
