Netizens want a successor to the Team Seas project from MrBeast

Recently, a post started to gain traction on the MrBeast subreddit. The post discussed what video the YouTuber should create to celebrate his 200 million subscribers. Team Seas was a joint effort between MrBeast and Mark Rober to clean 30 million pounds of trash from the oceans. They started the fundraiser in October 2021 to raise $30 million. As of October 2023, $33,488,703 has been raised by the fundraiser. However, there has been no new environmental drive from MrBeast.

Netizens believe crossing the 200 million mark is the perfect opportunity for the YouTuber to announce a new environmental project. And they have taken to the internet to urge MrBeast for a successor to Team Seas.

Will there be a successor to Team Seas?

While the fans are demanding a new environmental project, it may have some roadblocks. The first reason could be the lack of time MrBeast has. Now the YouTuber has multiple channels and a snack bar brand under his wing. Running a philanthropic project while juggling these responsibilities can be a huge task.

But the 25-year-old can run another environmental project by partnering up with another celebrity. A joint operation will be beneficial in bringing in more fans to the fundraiser. Another challenge MrBeast can face is a hilarious one.

In the past, he has named his projects ‘Team Seas’ and ‘Team Trees’ to give them a catchy and rhyming name. The next project will most probably also follow the same pattern. According to the netizens, ‘Team Feast’ and ‘Team Bees’ are the top contenders. However, the YouTuber is yet to confirm about another fundraiser. Only time will tell whether MrBeast will start one or not.
