Redditor Shares Details about the Struggle Getting a Refund From Rockstar Amidst the GTA Trilogy Launch Chaos

Unfinished, full-of-bugs game launches are too common nowadays. And Grand Theft Auto Trilogy is off to a pretty chaotic start as players have started to demand their money back. Both the PC version and the console versions of the game have their fair share of issues.

Gamers are saying that GTA Trilogy is this year’s Cyberpunk 2077 as Rockstar is currently loaded with refund requests from players.

One such disappointed player shared details about the struggle of getting his money back from Rockstar Games. But they are hardly the only person, as a number of understandably frustrated players are tweeting about the pathetic condition of the game, looking for a refund.

The aforementioned Reddit user shared a screenshot of the email Rockstar sent him after the refund demand. In the screenshot below, we can see that Rockstar Games is pretty much trying to avoid giving back the money, as they kept on saying that the game has been updated and is once again available, but unfortunately that is not the case. Players are still not able to play the game.

It definitely looks like Rockstar Games is somehow trying to delay the refund process so that they can fix all the issues.  After a series of responses from Rockstar Games, the Reddit user replied to the mail again saying, “Refund me. I haven’t changed my mind. “Your Definitive Edition is s***. Stop trying to delay this process or hope that a billion-dollar company can keep my money. Refund me or I will take this further under Australian consumer law.”

Why the hate?

The weather graphics and character models are an absolute disaster. Some of the characters look even worse than in the original games. Before the actual release of the Trilogy, the game gained a lot of attention from players all over the world, mainly because of its nostalgic value. Players were quite exciting about the improved version of the classic games.

But unfortunately, the game is not what the fans had hoped it would be. It is a total disaster. Hopefully, Rockstar will start working on the refund process soon.
