Read Dead Redemption, another famous creation by Rockstar Games besides the iconic Grand Theft Auto Series. The first game of this legendary series, Read Dead Redemption, was released way back in 2010 on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

Despite being a 13-year-old game, fans are still in demand for a remastered version of this open-world title. But Take Two Interactive and Rockstar Games seem to have other ideas in their minds. So, what are they? Let’s find out.

Red Dead Redemption is launching on Nintendo Switch and PS4.

Recently, Rockstar Games revealed the launch of Red Dead Redemption on PS4 and Switch, along with the Undead Nightmare DLC, in a trailer. Fans don’t seem to accept the fact that there is no remastered version yet for this famous title. As a result, the trailer got more than three times more dislikes (112k) than likes on YouTube at the time of writing this article.

For a very long time, fans eagerly awaited the remastered version of the epic wild west RPG Red Dead Redemption. But as it turns out, Red Dead Redemption is coming to PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. In Undead Nightmare, only DLC will be added to these versions. And that too at a price point of $50.

Take-Two Interactive’s CEO has justified the $50 price for the port, but fans aren’t convinced. Although fans aren’t satisfied with the justification, they dearly wanted a reamstered version. And according to them, if it was a remastered version, they were ready to pay more than $50. Furthermore, with the absence of multiplayer mode, many fans already think the game won’t be worth a purchase. What made things even worse for PlayStation fans is that the game has been playable in 4K on Xbox consoles for years thanks to their backward compatibility. Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnik said, “That’s just what we believe is the commercially accurate price for it.

Fans Are Not Taking This in a Good manner.

The hopes of the fans have been absolutely broken. Although there are players who own a Nintendo Switch or a PS4, they have never played this great game, and this port will be a treat for them. But if you think about it from a larger perspective, this is not what the fans wanted.
