Red Dead Redemption may finally be coming to the PlayStation 4 and the Nintendo Switch. A recent tweet has shown the trailer of Rockstar’s epic Wild West RPG for the Nintendo Switch and PS4.
Released in 2010, Red Dead Redemption has remained a popular title for fans to date. While the game is often overshadowed by its even larger and more expansive successor, RDR will forever remain the title that started off the whole epic saga. With community requests for a Red Dead Redemption Remaster growing louder, the game’s inclusion on the Switch and PlayStation 4 consoles will receive a warm welcome from fans.

Fans are understandably ecstatic as a recent tweet may have possibly given off some titillating information. According to the Twitter post by Ben on August 7, RDR is confirmed for Nintendo’s immensely popular Switch. Since its release in 2017, the Switch has dominated charts and has sold millions of units worldwide. With that in mind, it’s expected that the release of RDR will likely boost the console’s sales even further.
The tweet also revealed that Rockstar Games’ seminal title is also being released on PlayStation 4. With PlayStation 5 gobbling up all the recent attention, this game will help to revive the status of the older console.

Red Dead Redemption’s inclusion as a PS4 title will certainly not cause any frown from the community. Even after Sony’s PS5 is already on the market and Nintendo’s rumored Switch 2 is likely to arrive soon, both the Switch and PS4 still remain community favorites.
