Riot Games’ Valorant is arguably leading the FPS games battle right now. This game is just three years old and has seen tremendous popularity in such a short span. Most of the success of this title is due to the ever-growing competitive scene this game has cultivated. However, a major complaint of gamers remains is the platform limitations of this game.
Riot Games has only released this title for PC so far. While the news of a console port and a mobile port are surfacing online, their release date is still quite far. However, a recent rumor points out that console players will also be getting a brand-new campaign alongside the Valorant port.

Recently, a discussion on 4chan started gaining traction online, reaching multiple groups which discuss rumors and leaks. In the 4chan thread, an employee working in a popular game store leaked information about a new gift card for Valorant. The gift card will include a campaign called ‘Radiant War’ for the console port. Furthermore, the employee compared the gameplay to probably turn out like Counter-Strike: Condition Zero.
However, the employee did not get to see any type of gameplay or the price of the gift card. This has led to multiple fans online doubting the credibility of the rumor. And the campaign being a pay-to-play only has further raised some eyebrows. They concluded by saying, “I didn’t get a good look at the price details but it’s made by Riot so expect it to be overpriced.”

But the fans should take all this information with a grain of salt as nothing has been confirmed by either Riot Games or by any major game stores. However, the excitement of the arrival of a console port and a mobile port of Valorant has increased. The console port is expected to arrive by 2024. On the other hand, the development of the mobile port is still in the works by Riot Games as they have taken over the development from Tencent Games.
