Recalling: When YouTube King MrBeast Made Popular Creators Such as Pokimane, Valkyrae, and Others Fight for a $100,000 Cash Prize

MrBeast is one of the biggest names on YouTube right now. He is the biggest independent content creator on the platform. His channel has turned into a vast enterprise generating millions, even billions, in revenue. But there was a time when MrBeast wasn’t this enormous. 

Jimmy Donaldson, aka MrBeast, is currently one of the biggest names on YouTube. He has over 111 million subscribers and billions of total views on his channel. But not just YouTube, MrBeast has astonishing success in other sectors, with his fast-food chain Beast Burgers and Chocolate company Feastables. 

There was a time in MrBeast’s career when instead of throwing millions of dollars into his challenges, he would set a prize of $100k. Which is still a huge amount of money, but compared to the current scale of his channel, it is nothing.

But even with this smaller cash pool, MrBeast’s influence on the platform was still very prominent. As he put together some of the biggest content creators on the planet, such as Pokimane, Valkyrae, Jaiden Animations, Anthony Padilla, and more. For a real-life Battle Royal! 

MrBeast had YouTubers fight in a Battle Royale! 

Almost three years ago Jimmy organized a real-life battle royale featuring some of the biggest YouTubers in the world. The rules of the match were simple. There would be 13 teams. Each player in each team will have three balloons on their head, and if all the balloons are popped, the team is out. The last team standing would win a $100,000 cash prize.

There were two games, split into two separate videos. In total, a team could win $200K, which is still significantly less than what MrBeast offers in his recent videos. But that didn’t stop some of the biggest names on the platform from fighting each in the battle royale. 

Unsurprisingly, the battle royal was a huge success. The games were very fun for the contestant and entertaining for the viewers. The team green, which included the YouTuber named Preston won the first game. He made a whole vlog of his experience leading up to the big fight and how he won the cash prize. 

Jimmy helped a fan become a wary millionaire 

Making Youtubers fight for $100k was nothing compared to when MrBeast turned one of his subscribers into a millionaire for winning one of his challenges. Along with rewarding him the money, he also helped him in making good investments for his future.

Showing that even though he could easily just leave the winner to get the prize, his kind spirit compelled him to take matters into his hands to ensure his content doesn’t become a burden to anyone. Proving why deserves to be one of the best of the best.

With each passing day, Jimmy’s content is getting wilder and wilder. But even in his starting days, he had given enough signs about what he can do and bring to the platform in the future.
