Nintendo has various iconic titles that have entertained the fans throughout the years. But none is as compelling as Zelda, the irresistible franchise from the Mario maker. It has grown into a far bigger IP ever since Breath of the Wild came out more than five years ago.
The hardcore fans of Zelda are currently waiting for its sequel, which is now delayed. However recently, a gaming enthusiast spotted an interesting reference from its universe in real-life. Not to mention that it will now surely make some Nintendo players even more curious and hyped for Zelda 2’s launch.

The makers of the upcoming, anticipated successor of the first entry have pushed the game further. The announcement of its delay came almost two months ago in March. While showing a brief teaser clip from the title, the series producer revealed that they want to deliver a smooth and best experience to the fans.
Technically it makes sense given the state of many hyped releases turning out to be disaster these days due to many issues. And Nintendo surely doesn’t want Zelda 2 to end up like other titles. But from a fan’s perspective, the news of a delay never brings any kind of happiness, to say the least. However, one has to live with the current situation until 2023 arrives with an eventual debut of the sequel.

In the meantime, fans can enjoy an interesting picture shared by a Nintendo lover from a grocery store. What’s unique about this image is that it features none other than Link, himself, from Zelda’s universe.
As per the Reddit user, who took this image, they went to buy sausages in a local store where they noticed a banner showing the character of Link in a sad mood. It might be due to two key reasons. Firstly, he couldn’t get any sausages and second, the princess, herself, was missing from there, going by the description:
“Sausage Links (But no Zelda)”.
It took no time for other Reddit users to share their unique reactions to this post. While some found it unusually funny, others thought that Nintendo might end up suing the store if they find out about this incident. Others were just having fun with it, mentioning random views.
One emotional user wrote: “He’s so sad. He really wanted the Zelda sausage.”
