Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific received a gigantic update alongside Call of Duty: Vanguard season one’s debut. The update paved the way for massive changes throughout the game with the launch of the eye-catching new map, Caldera. Along with the new features in every aspect of the game, the developers also introduced an innovative new contract name TOP SECRET Contract.

However, not everything went according to plan. Following reports from various sources suggesting that players are abusing the glitch to level up weapons, Raven Software has now issued a notice stating TOP SECRET has been “temporarily disabled.”

Call of Duty Warzone Pacific’s game-breaking glitch

The TOP SECRET contracts are usually bounties, recons, most wanted or supply runs in the game. But as previously stated, not everything went according to plan for Raven Software. Due to a glitch/bug, players using the new contract were rewarded with “unintended Cash and XP rewards,” making leveling up weapons faster than ever in the game’s history.

The insane method, absolutely perfect for players who didn’t have prior Vanguard weaponry experience, allowed players to grind out their guns without actually putting in the intended amount of game time.

To give you an idea of how crazy the feature was, popular Warzone Creator/competitor, NRG Isaac, claimed to reach up to level 16 starting at level 1 in solo within 10 minutes using TOP SECRET contracts, in a recent video.

Developers disable TOP SECRET temporarily

The game-breaking addition handed out insane amounts of rewards, weapons XPs, and in-game cash. Some reports even suggested a few players racked up to 1800 to 2500 weapon XP using this trick. Rather than other major problems, fans seem infuriated following Raven’s concern with the mentioned feature.

Fortunately for Raven, and unfortunately for players, the issue came to light considerably fast and is under check. Currently, the devs have not released any other statement apart from their tweet and Trello board, both of which are the same.

Call of Duty Warzone Pacific will receive patches following the Caldera update. Tune in regularly to keep track of all the happenings in the game.
