The mid-season launch was quite interesting, adding in a new underground transit system along with major weapon meta changes, bug fixes, quality of life improvements, and other adjustments. However, it had also caused a lot of bugs to show up and hamper player experiences. The May 26 patch update managed to fix most issues as of now. Activision also deployed an anti-cheat update along with the patch update.?

The Stim no longer heals while you take damage from weapons

The popular tactical equipment, Stim, previously restored the health of wounded players along with boosting their movement speeds in Call of Duty Warzone. After the latest update, Stim will no longer heal when taking weapon damage.

It would be interesting to see how players tackle the absence of Stim?s healing support, especially when escapes are next to impossible. The stim?s slide speed boost has also suffered a 40% reduction, and the maximum slide time is now 1.3 seconds. The nerf is majorly sustainable as the stim still heals when a player isn’t taking weapon damage.?

The May 26 update also fixes some major bugs and adds an anti-cheat update

Warzone players love to exploit bugs. However, Activision and Raven Software are quite vigilant of such events. As it happens, many players noticed a bug that allowed them to shoot through elements in Caldera. Shoot-through-wall bugs are, unfortunately, very common in Warzone and many players often take advantage of the same.

According to Raven Software, the May 26 update has managed to fix the bug in the Caldera map that let players shoot through elements and take unfair advantage.

Along with the shoot-through bug, the developers also fixed a major weapon name error. Apparently, the H4 Blixen (VG) Submachine Gun had appeared under an unintended name of Carl Gustav M/45. The error has now been fixed, in addition to a few bugs affecting the rarity labels, challenges, blueprints, and more.

Activision and Raven Software are constantly battling cheaters trying to break through the game?s system. The development of malware and cheating programs never stops, and the officials need to be vigilant about the same. The latest patch also included an update to the Ricochet Anti-Cheat system for the betterment of the PC kernel-level driver detection systems and server-side security.

Raven Software buffed two light machine guns in Call of Duty Warzone

The Whitley was added to Warzone as a part of Season 2. In the May 26 update, the light machine gun received major buffs to its stats. Type 11, another light machine gun, also received some positive adjustments to its stats. Both weapons now boast of increased damage stats and bullet velocity.?
