Sony previously had massive success transferring its bestsellers to Windows through PC ports. This list includes titles like God of War, Marvel’s Spider-Man, and many others. However, some games couldn’t make their list like the two Sony games mentioned. Still, it is certain that PlayStation had success with its games shipped to PC ports.
But with Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, PlayStation couldn’t find success on Steam. This game was launched for PC only last week and to date, this action platformer game of Insomniac managed to get only 8757 players. This surely wasn’t a good viewership for the debut week of its release on PC. It felt like PC users didn’t really like the game much.
Since July 2021, this game was available on PlayStation 5, and it sold over 1 million copies. However, Steam’s poor viewership confirms that the game performed poorly in the market for PC users. However, Rachet & Clank: Rift Apart was positioned about Sackboy: A Big Adventure and Returnal. furthermore, Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection took the position right above Ratchet & Clank.

A lot of people took advantage of the moment to give a reality check to PlayStation fans – “Playstation gamers need to learn a very important lesson. PC gamers are not nearly as obsessed with their exclusive titles as they are.”
Playstation gamers need to learn a very important lesson. PC gamers are not nearly as obsessed with their exclusive titles as they are, or more importantly, as they think PC gamers are. To PS gamers, these games are everything, to PC gamers these are merely more games.
