Feuds are a huge part of both the wrestling and streaming sphere. The unreal clashes and the trash-talking are a reason why fans are so much fond of them. But the most lucrative of them all is when two giants from different universes collide to make chaos in the arena. That was something in 2020 when The Undertaker had a feud with Streamer DrDisrespect.

This feud became so interesting that other WWE wrestlers were invited to talk about it, while eSports’ very own energy drink G Fuel sponsored it. But amidst all this, fans were given a chance to see both the 6’8″ tall giants confronting each other. As well as clicking a picture with the G Fuel CPO.

When WWE and the streaming world collided

It is well known that The Undertaker has been a legend of WWE for the entirety of it. He might have lost a few matches in his career, but his fame kept growing even after that. The same is the case with 40-year-old DrDisrespect, who although had seen a lot of ups and down in his career never let his fans down in terms of entertainment.

That was the same when, in February 2020, DrDisrespect and The Undertaker had a promotional feud for the fans to enjoy. This feud was basically an outcome of a lot of trash talk and calling out by Doc in the SmackDown premiere.

This calling out, although indirect, had a straight connection with Undertaker. Thus a VFX-loaded promotional call-out video with Doc and Undertaker was released which was sponsored by G Fuel themselves.

Interestingly, there was also a picture that showed the two 6’8″ tall giants standing side by side with G Fuel’s Chief Partnership Officer, Sal Triolo. Although not many got to witness this behind the scene image, some Twitter shares surely brought light to it.

What was the Undertaker x DrDisrespect feud about?

In October 2019, DrDisrespect without any prior notice crashed the SmackDown FOX premiere at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. The audience was electrified to see that DrDisrespect not just crashed the event but also called out wrestlers by claiming that he is “looking for someone.”

This impression by Doc was not very well received by Undertaker and so during a live stream in February 2020, the wrestler crashed DrDisrespect’s Overwatch stream. Notably, Undertaker said, “I have no patience for the two-time. WWE is my domain, my yard. Your transgressions will be punished. DrDisRespect, you will rest in peace.” After this, the feud got even more heated and was then later subsidized by G Fuel.

Although a promotional video came out for a fight between them, it was not made clear what happened next. Unfortunately, fans never got a clear answer to the question because of some unfortunate turn of events and therefore the feud went cold.
