Valorant’s agent system was one of the biggest changes brought to the first-person competitive shooting experience. The ability to change your playstyle based on the agent you pick is an interesting prospect. One choice has the potential to tip the scales in your favor. Consequently, when Valorant brings new agents to the game, it does not take long for players to find hidden abilities that change how players use the agent entirely.

The release of the new agent Deadlock brought its fair share of glitches. In this latest bug, fans could bring down the Barrier Mesh almost instantly, making it pretty much useless in the round.

The arrival of Deadlock was one of the biggest storylines in the game. The release of a new agent in the Sentinel-class could change the playing field. However, after the initial launch, fans quickly began finding out bugs that quite often rendered Deadlock useless.

In this instance, it dealt with the Barrier Mesh ability of Deadlock. The Barrier Mesh is a skill it uses in order to block enemies from entering through a chokepoint. Although a standard variation of a usual Sentinel tool, players realized the way it interacts with walls might just give them an upper hand. As a result, with the ability, if there is a small gap between the edge of the Barrier Mesh and any wall, it can be neutralized.

All the player has to do is try to push through that small gap. Almost instantaneously, the barrier collapses. Some players speculated the reason for this has to do with preventing players from getting stuck in walls. However, just trying to keep players from getting stuck in walls enabled this glitch. In the clip, the player brings down the barrier and runs right through. The enemy is unaware of what is happening and gets caught off guard.

Players can only hope Riot fixes this bug as soon as possible before people start avoiding picking Deadlock entirely!
