However, there’s one secret about the Nintendo Switch title a lot of players might be unaware of. The developer and publisher had once released official wristwatches based on the actual Animal Crossing: New Horizons characters.

A YouTuber who runs the channel by the name ashsnapem recently dropped a brief clip on the streaming platform. She revealed how Nintendo once released some exciting items based on the hit Switch game.

Going by this clip, Nintendo had launched official wristwatches centered around the different characters in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Moreover, when it comes to the options, then the YouTuber also showed five watch styles inspired by various villagers. As you can see in the video, below, there are different watches imbibing their looks from Blathers, Isabelle, and Tom Nook among others.
Interestingly, though, these watches were only launched in the Japanese region through the Toy Machine Capsules. Without a doubt, they all look quite adorable, similar to the villagers they are based on.
What’s next for ACNH going forward?
Meanwhile, when it comes to Animal Crossing’s fandom, it’s yet to receive a major update for the Switch blockbuster. This year has been slightly disappointing for the players. It’s because Nintendo’s team hasn’t come out with any massive expansion for the immensely popular online simulation title.

In fact, the Mario maker even had a brand new Direct event, but it lacked anything related to ACNH. Some players were hoping to finally receive relevant news on the game’s future going forward, but the event didn’t have a ray of hope for them.
