Alan Wake II’s creative director has revealed massive secrets about the upcoming game, and fans are going wild.
On June 8, 2023, the Summer Game Fest opened its gates for developers and avid gamers. Show host Geoff Keighley was all set for some brand new action as day one would feature some massive updates. Starting with the new season trailer to Fortnite to the fresh Mortal Kombat trailer, the showcase had it all.
Fans had their eyes fixed on the prize, and one of the biggest prizes at SGF 2023 was Alan Wake II. The community wanted to learn more about the game since its prior release at the PlayStation showcase. Creative director, Sam Lake, did a fantastic job as spoke about the new story, added updates, and the entire ideology of Alan Wake II.

Alan Wake 2 will not have one but two playable characters
Previously, during the PlayStation showcase, Remedy Entertainment revealed October 17, 2023 as the date for Alan Wake II. Followed by that, the franchise also claimed the sequel to be a standalone title. And well, fans were pleased by the information for quite some time before they demanded something new.
So, to adhere to their requests, Sam Lake, the franchise’s creative director, made an appearance at Summer Game Fest. He started off by revealing that Alan Wake II would have two playable characters – the titular character Alan Wake and a brand new addition Agent Saga. Hard core fans may already be familiar with Wake, but Saga is no slouch either. She is an FBI agent coming to the Pacific North West town of Pride Land with her partner Alex Cassey.
