miHoYo has finally announced all upcoming features of the next 2.5 update in Genshin Impact. Players are mostly excited about challenging Raiden Shogun as a new weekly boss and pulling Yae Miko on her banner. Interestingly, there are a lot of rumors that Yae Miko will become the strongest damage dealer in the game surpassing Ganyu, Ayaka, Xiao, and Hu Tao.

Indeed, this would be a splendid and needed change as it will change users’ thinking about the Electro element being the weakest. Furthermore, the 2.4 update gained a lot of users’ attention, especially because of the free Intertwined Fates and Ningguang outfit skin. However, developers introduced many fresh changes to Spiral Abyss in the recent update.

Several users also claimed that the 2.4 update Spiral Abyss might be the toughest Abyss since the game’s release. Continue reading to find more about the most used characters in the 2.4 Spiral Abyss.

Top five characters used in Spiral Abyss 2.4 in Genshin Impact

After releasing the new mechanics, Corrosion, players’ opinions about healers have drastically changed. Corrosion is a Status Effect and Ley Line Disorder, where characters who are Corroded will lose a fraction of their HP every second. Moreover, Corrosion deals a lot of damage on floor 12 of Spiral Abyss. Because of this, the ranking of most used characters has changed significantly.

5. Raiden Shogun

Raiden Shogun is introduced as the Electro Archon in the game. Although she is a polearm user, during her elemental burst, Raiden shifts to a sword user. This feature makes her unique from most other characters and attracts several users to her.

Not to mention, Raiden Shogun’s banner sales even surpassed Venti’s banner sales and generated the most profit for miHoYo. According to the aforementioned chat, we can see that Shogun’s banner made over 33 million yuan (approximately 5.1 million U.S. dollars).

4. Xingqiu

Most players ignore the importance of four-star characters in the game; however, the only character used in several team comps is none other than Xingqiu. Moreover, he is the only decent Hydro support in the game and can be used in various team comps with Diluc, Ayaka, Hu Tao, and much more.

3. Zhongli- Geo Archon in Genshin Impact

It’s quite shocking to see that someone has finally thrown the Geo Archon down from his first position since his release. Zhongli is mainly famous for his shield, which can mostly take a lot of damage which helps main damage dealers not worry about opponents’ attacks. However, after introducing Corrosion, which reduces characters’ health regardless, users who equip a shield have reduced Zhongli’s popularity.

However, he is still beneficial other than floor 12 and if you use him with a healer; you don’t have to worry at all. The best characters to use with Zhongli are Ganyu and Hu Tao.

2. Bennett

Other than Xingqiu, Bennett is also the most popular four-star character. Furthermore, since he belongs to the Pyro element, players can also use Pyro Resonance to decrease the time affected by Cryo by 40% and increase Attack by 25%.

Furthermore, Bennett also provides decent healing and a splendid attack bonus from his elemental burst. You have to increase his base attack by giving him a high base attack weapon to get a significant boost.
