Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is the latest installment in the renowned Pokemon series. With this game, Game Freak tapped into a new potential for the series. Unlike past titles, Scarlet and Violet is an open world and fans no longer need to follow a directive storyline. Further, there are three game routes for the players to follow: Victory Road, Starfall Street, and Path of Legends.

Path of Legends is a unique game route, where the players have to take on Pokemon who consumed Herba Mystica, causing them to grow to a gigantic size. So, players need to take these Titans down, to get access to Herba Mystica which helps heal Arven’s Mabosstiff and the injured mascot Legendaries.

As this game doesn’t have a directive, players can even take on the strongest Titan at first. So here is the best order in which the player can take down the Titans with ease.

5. Klawf (The Stony Cliff Titan)

The best Titan to begin the Path of Legends route is The Stony Cliff Titan which is a gigantic Klawf. After starting the game, players don’t have access to higher-level Pokemon. So taking on a Level 16 giant Klawf would be a good way to start.

Players who chose the Water-type Quaxly or Grass-type Sprigatito would get an edge over this Stony Cliff Titan, as it’s a Rock-type. However, players should remember that this Titan has impressive physical attack and defensive stat. Further, its Anger Shell ability boosts the Attack, Special Attack, and Speed stats when health gets half.

4. Bombirdier (The Open Sky Titan)

After defeating the Stony Cliff Titan, the best option for players is to move towards a path up to the top of a waterfall in West Province Area 1. There they will encounter The Open Sky Titan, which is a gigantic Level 20 Bombirdier.

Bombirdier is a Flying/Dark-type Pokemon, so players should try getting their hands on Fairy, Electric, Ice, and Rock-type Pokemon. However, it is not easy to get hands-on with an Ice-type near this Titan’s location. It would be nice if a player catches the previous Titan, as Klawf is a Rock-type.

What the players should look out for is Bombirdier’s move pool, as it can use both Flying and Rock-type. Further, it can also use Torment which prevents the target from using the same move twice in a row.

3. Orthworm (The Lurking Steel Titan)

For the third Titan fight, players should try taking on the Lurking Steel Titan. It is a gigantic Level 30 Orthworm which also grew into a colossal size after having Herba Mystica. However, facing this Lurking Steel Titan could be one of the most frustrating battles if not prepared properly.

Orthworm is a Steel-type Pokemon with a massive defense stat. While the player tries to lower his health, this Titan can set a Sandstorm and Wrap to take down the player. Moreover, it has the Earth Eater ability that makes it immune to Ground-type. So, the only weakness it has is against Fire and Fighting-type Pokemon. So those who chose Fuecoco as the starter are in luck.

2. Great Tusk & Iron Treads (The Quaking Earth Titans)

After the frustrating Lurking Steel Titan fight, players should go after the Quaking Eart Titan. However, this is the Titan Pokemon that depends on which game the player is playing. The Scarlet players would encounter a Level 45 Great Tusk, while Violet players would face Level 45 Iron Treads.

Both these Quaking Earth Titans are primary Ground-type, but Great Tusk has a secondary Fighting-type, and Iron Threads is a secondary Steel-type. So players can use a Water-type Pokemon to face both these Pokemon. Also, players can use a Fire/Flying-type Talonflame against both Titans. Talonflame’s Flying-type moves are effective against Great Tusk, while the Fire-type ones are against Iron Threads.

1. Tatsugiri (The False Dragon Titans)

The last Titan to face is the Level 57 False Dragon Titan, which is a Tatsugiri. It is a small Dragon/Water-type, which might not look threatening at all. However, players shouldn’t let the size fool them. Tatsugiri will use its Commander ability to summon a Water-type Dondozo.

Now, this False Dragon Titan has access to a threatening move pool, as it can use Water, Ice, and Dragon-type moves. Because of the Commander ability, Dondozo would have all its stats boosted. So the best strategy would be to have a Fairy-type Pokemon. But the best option would be using the Fairy-type Florges, as it has access to Fairy and Grass-type moves, which works best against this Titan.
