Respawn took a quick break from all the Apex Legend’s issues to set the records straight on Titanfall 3. Respawn wants all the fans to know that it has not given up on Titanfall yet, despite all the recent reports and rumors. And it is not dead by any means.

Recently, Jason Garza (Respawn community coordinator) said that there is absolutely nothing there to look forward to. This comment shattered all the hopes once and for all.

Respawn has since clarified all the doubts created by some gaming outlets. They have released an official statement about Titanfall and how important the game is to them.

The tweet is vaguely worded, but still, it points towards a future project. Above all, it keeps the hope alive for a future Titanfall game. According to Respawn, Titanfall is the core part of their DNA and the game is extremely important to them.

Titanfall 3 on the way?

Earlier this week (on 20 September 2021), Respawn community coordinator, Jason Garza, replied to the request for any kind of update or news on Titanfall 3. Garza and said, “don’t get your hopes up. I have said this before, we don’t have anything in the works, there is nothing here.”

This reply was reported by multiple gaming outlets, bringing intense disappointment to all the Titanfall fans that have been clinging on to the little hope of getting the Titanfall 3 announcement next year.

Respawn said on Twitter, “Contrary to what some folks are reporting, Titanfall is the very core of our DNA. Who knows what the future holds?” Well, the words are kind of intentionally vague and there is absolutely no direct mention of any project details.

Maybe the tweet is just intended to debunk all the recent talk about Respawn abandoning the franchise or maybe a 3rd game is actually on the way. Only time will tell. At present, Respawn has a lot of things on its plate, what with all the Apex Legends server issues.
