xQc lost the FIFA World Cup bet after France’s loss

The Twitch streamer xQc became extremely famous because of his gambling streams. But it also got the 26-year-old to develop an addiction to gambling, although he has subdued this hobby lately. But maybe he couldn’t also hold himself back from betting on a FIFA World Cup final.

Being a Canadian, xQc is a French speaker and so he opted to support France in the finals. The Twitch streamer further revealed placing half a million dollars on Kylian Mbappe‘s France. He also boasted about his bet on Twitter and claimed to put “money where his mouth is” which was the French side.

But nothing went according to plan after Argentina took the lead before half-time. Later, Mbappe helped France to come back and let xQc dream once again about winning the bet. But despite all the hard work, it was Messi and his Argentine side that lifted the coveted trophy after a nail-biting penalty shootout.

So Argentina winning the title meant xQc lost all his money. He again went on to Twitter to share a sad picture of himself and claimed it was a “Good game all around. Fun watch.-$650k I guess…” He took a dig at himself as $650,000 was the amount that the match cost him.
