Some promos are based on team and player performances, while others are based on different themes giving upgrades to the cards in different areas.

Talking of Team of the Season, it is one of the most popular promos of the game. Although the new installment of the game rolls out in September or October, and this promo usually comes out in May, people anticipate it from the very beginning. Such is the hype.

What exactly is the Team of the Season promo?

Team of the Season is a FIFA promo that is based on the performances of the players during the entire campaign or season. EA rolls out special cards that have remarkably juiced stats in every area. Generally, these cards feel great in-game and are incredibly fun to use.

While EA releases these cards with their own discretion, this time around, they have let people vote for them. Four of the dominant TOTS (Community, Bundesliga, Premier League, and La Liga) have already been released in the game, making Ligue 1 TOTS the fifth.

Who all made it to The Ligue 1 TOTS?

The players selected for the promo are the ones who did exceptionally well on the pitch. While one can argue about a couple of selections, most of them are well deserving of their spot. Paris Saint-Germain have dominated in their domestic season and the Ligue 1 TOTS. Out of the 15 cards released in packs, one-third of them belong to the French capital team.

In Forwards, PSG star front trio, Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe, and Neymar Jr. made it to the list. Monaco’s number 10, Wissam Ben Yedder, has rightfully earned his spot with Marseille’s Dimitri Payet and Rennes’ Martin Terrier.

In the Midfielders department, Ex-Arsenal player Matteo Guendouzi, Lyon’s Lucas Paqueta, Yedder’s compatriot and teammate Aurelien Tchouameni, and Lens player Seko Fofana made it in the TOTS.
