Fortnite houses some of the finest video game collaborations one has witnessed to date. The free-to-play Battle Royale experience by Epic Games features hundreds of inspired cosmetics that fans can grab with V-bucks. In fact, Fortnite continues to feature new, exciting collaborations every now and then.

The intriguing part of Fortnite also fuels a bunch of leakers, who data mine their way into Epic Games’ plans and reveal the information before the official intention. As a result, most fans already know what’s incoming before Epic can surprise them. But, what if a leaked set of collaborations never made it to the game? Well, Epic Games seems to have diverted from their plans, in the case of a few collaborations.

As pointed out by notable Fortnite informant Hypex, Epic Games didn’t release 10 such collaborations, files of which informants found in the game. In addition, Epic was also reportedly working on a Skin + Backbling/Pickaxe Bundles during Chapter 2, but never released them in-game.

Fortnite Collaborations that possibly didn’t make the cut

According to Hypex, Epic Games was working on 10 exciting collaborations, as some data mining sessions presented.

In fact, data miners had found in-game files having names that proved Epic Games’ plans. But sadly, those collaborations never made it to the game.

The list of ignored Fortnite collaborations includes the following:

  1. Beyoncé Single Ladies Emote
  2. Doom
  3. Family Guy
  4. John McClane (Die Hard)
  5. Katniss Everdeen (Hunger Games)
  6. Lady Gaga
  7. Samus Aran
  8. Snake Plissken (Escape from NY)
  9. The Bride (Kill Bill)
  10. Tyler Rake (Chris Hemsworth)

Hypex further revealed the details of two bundles that were supposedly in the works but never made it to the game.

  1. Moss Legends: (Moss Knight, Moss Brite Bomber & Moss Omega)
  2. Sweet Legends: (Sweet Guff, Sweet Cuddle Team Leader & Sweet Fishstick)

These were reportedly scheduled to release during late Chapter 2, but unfortunately, didn’t show up yet. As Hypex pointed out via another informant, Sweet Legends’ Sweet Fishstick was introduced to the game as ‘Gummy Fishstick’ as a part of Fortnitemares 2021. So, it is possible that the rest of the bundle is released as standalone skins.

While there’s a chance that Epic Games may have plugged the plug on the above-mentioned collaborations, the company could also be planning to release these later. As of now, the company’s intentions are unknown. The future of the previously leaked collaborations remains vague, as new collaborations continue to emerge and take shape in Fortnite.
