Apart from the toxic players who ruin the gaming experience for people, there is yet another gigantic trouble that looms large for competitive games. Hacking has been a prevalent illegal action used by shady gamers to override the in-game mechanisms to their favor. Call of Duty, CS: GO, Valorant, GTA Online, and many other prominent titles have fallen victim to hackers in the past.
There are protocols currently in place to tackle these, and supposedly one in the Call of Duty Warzone game played a trick on a player who allegedly hacked the game.

Hackers and their shenanigans are a headache for gaming communities and developers alike. Thus to curb this infectious problem, the developers roll out anti-cheats and other defense mechanisms. These are aimed to detect the hackers or the accounts that used similar means to get an unfair advantage in the game. If spotted, immediate suspension that can even lead up to a hardware ban is implemented.
The system that is working day and night to protect Warzone and its eco-system is called the Ricochet Anti-Cheat. This knight in silver armor is the reason why many hackers and third-party exploiters get detected.
The system is deploying various countermeasures to tackle the excruciating problems within the game, and it seems like a player was hit with its latest mechanism. According to the ModernWarzone Twitter handle, Warzone streamer NitroLukeDX faced a rather innovative Ricochet Anti-Cheat mechanism.
Warzone streamer @NitroLukeDX appears to have been hit with one of Ricochet Anti Cheats new counter measures while live on his stream.
He seems to have been unaware that the enemy players disappearing on his screen is because of RICOCHET and is not a “glitch” like he claims. pic.twitter.com/ryQzJwlLD7

In his stream fans could notice that the enemies were suddenly disappearing as soon as his crosshair was placed on their hitbox. The streamer thought it was a glitch in the game, but according to the ModernWarzone Twitter handle (gaming news page), it was the Anti-Cheat system at play.

Some people were seen recollecting past actions of the streamer, alleging him to be a person who used to call out others as hackers.
Just watched some of his Facebook VODs… It’s actually SO obvious he’s been walling his ass off 💀
Not only that, he’s now switched to PS5 and his games are completely different. From 30 kills a game down to 10.
Yet anyone who kills him is “cheating” – weird guy 🤡
