Among the franchise’s most influential and highly acclaimed games is The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, which is considered an icon and a masterclass in gaming.

Despite its status, fans have long debated whether it deserves to be the number-one game of all time. Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2 is currently in second place on the Metacritic list, being the biggest competitor for the crown.

Currently, the gaming world has been obsessed with the newly released Zelda title, Tears of the Kingdom. It is the direct sequel to the highly acclaimed Breath of the Wild. Hopping into the hype train of Zelda, industry pundit, Jeff Grubb talked about the most influential Zelda game of all time, Ocarina of Time, and its place in the top charts.

Jeff suggested that Tony Hawk deserves first place. This opinion made him get a lot of heat on the internet. On Twitter, Jeff wrote, “Pretty mad at all of you still for acting like I’m crazy for suggesting Tony Hawk for best game of all time.” This Tweet kindled the flames even higher. While many criticized him further, others supported his take.
