The recent trailer showcased the game’s stylized, cel-shaded aesthetic, which almost resembles an anime-style production. Furthermore, this marks a major change of pace for the series. Fans are praising the more realistic art style design by developers as this new title will reflect the franchise’s return to its street racing roots.
Interestingly, the appearance of a popular American rapper, A$AP Rocky, excited the long-awaited NFS fans. Moreover, reports suggest A$AP Rocky has his own mode in the new entry. Not to mention, fans can notice A$AP Rocky driving his own car in the game–complete with the vanity license plate. Therefore, users can definitely expect more celebrity cameos too in the future.
According to the game’s description in the YouTube video, players will gain access to weekly challenges, and will even have to outrun cops (the major tradition of any NFS title). In addition, users who preorder Need for Speed Unbound will gain access three days early and receive a handful of items.
