To give a glimpse of the situation, Sliker (ItsSliker) has been accused of ‘scamming’ and allegedly borrowing $200,000 from viewers. Recently, shocking screenshots of his conversations with his viewers have surfaced on the internet. In the screenshots, he was seen asking people for money.
Moreover, amidst the uproar of allegations, Sliker went on stream to address the situation. As reported by Dot eSports, “the streamer admitted that he lied regarding his initial bank story, and that his borrowed money went into supporting his self-described gambling addiction and paying back further debt. The Twitch streamer claimed that in one month’s time he borrowed over $100,000 from fellow streamers such as Trainwrecks.”
Sadly, the community has been affected by all of this. The people who had trusted are now facing problems. And that’s why Ludwig and xQc have initiated a process to settle the tough situation.
Ludwig and xQc turn into saviors by giving promises that the people needed
Ludwig and xQc are popular streamers on YouTube and Twitch, respectively. Moreover, they stand as one of the fan favorites. And the community humbly appreciated this gesture made by them.
Ludwig earlier tweeted, “I’m working with @xQc to pay everyone back who got scammed by sliker.” Furthermore, he said, “It’s time @Twitch does something about gambling streams.” This came in as a request for the platform to regulate the gambling done on the platform.

Moreover, this is not the first time that streamers have spoken about gambling on Twitch. While appearing on Ethan Klein’s podcast show H3, Pokimane talked about the situation around gambling. In a nutshell, she asked that streamers should promote anything but gambling in the community.
xQc also tweeted, “WE ARE AWARE ABOUT THIS @Sliker SITUTATION AND THE VICTIMS WHO WE’RE SCAMMED OUT OF THEIR HARD-EARNED MONEY. HEARTBREAKING. ME AND @LudwigAhgren WILL BE TRYING OUR BEST TO GET MONEY BACK TO THOSE PEOPLE. THIS IS ABOUT THE VICTIMS. ONLY THEM. THIS WILL TAKE TIME, ITS ~$300,000.🤝”
