This time around, the developers have finally clubbed the gameplay mechanic of the soulsborne franchise with the open-world setting that it truly needed. It has produced a title named Elden Ring that will challenge and test your skills, patience, and willpower like never before.
Although none of these apply to speed-runners as they never play by the rules. YouTuber, Distortion2 did something unbelievable, by finishing Elden Ring under 20 mins in the unrestricted category.

What did it take for YouTuber to finish Elden Ring in such a short time?
The Youtuber stated that in this category of speed runs, players can use any exploit, bugs, glitches, zipping and more to finish the game. In his massive 15 hours grind with the game, he managed to uncover some fascinating things that aided him to achieve this goal. He offered more clarification about his run and shared more details about the world record.
He said, “Just wanted to clarify that this run was done on old patch 1.02 as it’s the fastest version of the game. This category is unrestricted which allows the use of force quits and the “zipping” glitch which we use to teleport the character across the map.
