No doubt, Roblox is one of the most celebrated video game platforms of our time. It has a player base that is literally as large as or above games like Call of Duty and Minecraft. There’s a reason for that; it’s not just a game but a tool to boost the creativity of players. These tools have created a huge community of very creative Roblox developers.

These developers have created a number of excellent games. One such creator is “Simbuilder”, and he seems to be in trouble!

Roblox creator Simbuilder was reportedly arrested at a Roblox conference!

The developer community for Roblox is so big that they have started having a yearly developer conference. This year’s Roblox Developer Conference was held in San Francisco on September 8 and 9. It was attended by numerous popular developers from this community.

One such developer is Simbuilder, a developer who became popular for creating a game called Roblox Vehicle Simulator. He is a very popular personality in the Roblox community, and his game has a big fanbase too. But recently, he was reportedly arrested for trying to enter the developer conference without an invitation.

Fans have stated that a while ago, Simbuilder hinted at his intention of going to this conference even if he did not receive an invitation. He reportedly said, “I’ll be at #RDC23, I’ve attended all RDCs since 2017 during my #Roblox Accelerator Program where #VehicleSimulator went from Free and Popular to immensely successful and brought so much freedom and opportunity to me. Never let people define you, always represent yourself!”

It is a confusing situation for fans of the platform as well as Simbuilder. He is obviously one of those people who have put the Roblox platform on the map with their contributions to it. His getting arrested has garnered a mixed response from people everywhere. We have to point out that no detail other than his arrest is currently concrete. We have to wait for confirmation of the events that led to this arrest.

Addition of dating features and cancellation of innovation awards?

A little while after this report of Simbuilder getting arrested dropped, Roblox’s official X account tweeted they are canceling the Roblox Innovation Awards due to security concerns. This announcement came after this arrest and Roblox’s announcement that they are thinking of evolving their platform into something where people can date too. This new service would be exclusive to members who are aged 17 and over. This feature would be accompanied by the addition of video chat.

About the cancellation though, some say these concerns were raised after the incident with Simbuilder. But it does not seem like he created any ruckus to be a reason for such an action. As the events unfold, we are sure we will get more information on the reason for this cancellation.
