Pokemon Unite makes it to the World Championships!
Apart from the announcement of Unite coming as a competitive game in the World Championships, there is no other detail available as of now. More information on how the Pokemon Unite players will qualify for the series is expected in coming months.
Pokemon Unite will join the already added entries to the World Championships, such as the Trading Card Game and the ever popular Pokemon Go.
The newly announced decision to add Pokemon Unite as a competitive title can be attributed to the growing craze for mobile games. Especially in terms of the eSports arena, such titles are dominating across the globe.
Speaking of the game itself, then Pokemon Unite is free-to-play on Nintendo Switch, Android, and iOS. It is a multiplayer online battle arena title, having TiMi Studio Group as the developer. The Pokemon Company is the publisher of the game that initially launched in 2021.
Furthermore, Pokemon Unite has a spectator mode as well, due to which it becomes an exciting mobile game. As a result of this mode, players can remain hooked for long hours while seeing how other opponents are performing.

One interesting thing to look for, upon its debut in World Championships, will be that it will have a new tournament mode.
Talking about the tournament mode, it will simply make the playing field even for all players. Which means that it won’t matter at what level their held items are, they will all get to compete equally. Currently, Pokemon Unite lacks this mode.
